CONCEPT
The project involves creating a visual identity for the Hawaii Dementia Initiative (HDI), an organization focused on providing compassionate support, holistic healing, and fostering a thriving network for individuals affected by dementia. The identity creation process was deeply rooted in understanding the core mission and values of HDI, with a strong emphasis on connection, support, and holistic healing.
My final design and chosen identity by the organization is called "Thriving Network". The Identity "Thriving Network" embodies a network of neurons, symbolizing the connections between individuals within the community. The entire identity creation process was an amalgamation of brainstorming, sketching, digital designing, and refining, ensuring the final visual identity authentically represented HDI's mission and values.

THRIVING NETWORK
Inspiration
Neurons connect people in a network, similar to synapses in a neural network. Each person plays a vital role in sharing knowledge, ideas, and support in the web of relationships. Together, they create a collaborative and growing network, where the collective power is greater than the individual parts.
The "Thriving Network" logo takes its inspiration from the mission and goals of the Hawai'i Dementia Initiative (HDI). Its design symbolizes the connection between individuals within the community, reflecting the initiative's commitment to fostering a network of individuals, caregivers, and professionals who can share knowledge, ideas, and support.
